Our natural deodorant has become one of our best sellers! It’s a great deodorant, NOT an anti-perspirant. It doesn’t clog your pours and you will continue to perspire, just without any bad odour, or even better – with a nice aroma from the essential oils!! It does have white clay and arrowroot powder for absorption but it does not stop you from sweating.
Frequent Questions:
How does it work? Basically, the essential oils repel the bacteria that causes the bad odour. So, it is fundamental that you wash your underarms right before applying it.
Does it stain? No. However, it can leave a mark (not stain) on your clothes which comes out in the wash. If for any reason, it does not come out in the wash, the mark is removed by scrubbing with a little of our soap.
Does it last? Yes. Here in Spain, in Autumn, Winter and Spring, it usually lasts (repels the bad odour) all day. However, during the summer here, where 40º is not unusual, it may be necessary to wash your underarms and reapply at midday.
Our Mint Lavender Deodorant is slightly stronger smelling, and the Bergamot Rosemary a little gentler.
Our Lemon Deodorant has an even stronger deodorizing effect as we have added baking soda. Baking soda can be a little tricky because although it is a fabulous deodorizer, it can be irritating on really sensitive skin so this is why we didn’t include it in our other deodorants. Personally, I do not have a problem with baking soda on my skin, but I am aware that some people may.
HOW TO USE AND CARE YOUR FOR NATURAL DEODORANT
Gently apply a pea-size amount of deodorant to the underarm skin, making sure it covers the whole area. Massage lightly into the skin for maximum absorption.
Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
